Mael'ynur

Niðarite Hammer of Halthor Noru - (Also known in later human legend as "Mjölnir")

Classification: Hybrid artifact (Alien–Terrestrial Forge Construct)

Composition: Niðarite alloy fused with Noru-grade exosuit plating

Forged: c. 7,000 BCE (approx. radiometric estimate, ±300 yrs)

Origin Site: Northern Scandinavia (near modern-day Trøndelag, Norway)

After the crash of his vessel on proto-Nordic Eden, Prince Halthor of House Noru found himself stranded with only fragments of his ship and his combat armor intact.

Knowing repair was impossible without conductive patching material, he mined local Niðarite, a rare meteoric tungsten-iron ore capable of channeling immense electromagnetic charge.

Using parts of his own armor to seal his ship, he was left with only his helmet, belt, and sword pommel - three relics carrying both his biological signature and temporal energy imprint.

In an improvised forge lit by his ship's thrusters, Halthor melted the remnants together with refined Niðarite.

He shaped the molten mass after the war-hammer used by local tribes, an homage to the people who had sheltered him.

Through Time-Elemental infusion, he imparted longevity and resonance, effectively binding a portion of his own life-force into the alloy.

While the weapon cooled, he engraved it with Runes of Noru, a gene-key cipher ensuring only his bloodline - those capable of enduring its frequency - could wield it.

As emotion overtook him, the act became more than craftsmanship; it was a rite of farewell.

Lightning struck the newly forged weapon as he raised it skyward, fusing the alien runes with Eden's electrical signature.

The hammer cooled, inert yet humming faintly at the edge of audibility - an object bridging two worlds.

Halthor gifted the weapon to his eldest grandchild, entrusting him with the defense of their adopted people.

Having fulfilled his exile's purpose, the prince returned to the stars aboard his spatial sled, whose dual plasma engines - Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr - would inspire the legends of goats pulling Thor's chariot.

The hammer remained, its story diluted into myth, its truth buried beneath millennia of reverence and war.

Modern status:

Fragments of Niðarite consistent with Noru metallurgy have been recovered from glacial strata in northern Norway.

Spectral analysis confirms isotopic ratios unattainable through terrestrial forges, supporting theories that the Hammer of Halthor - or its descendants - survive as trans-dimensional relics, dormant until reactivated by compatible genetic resonance.

Mamont-khranitel'

Pyotr Sergeyevich Antonov - the Taiga’s appointed Avatar, an anthropomorphic mammoth guardian born of human and ancient spirit in the Reset’s aftermath.

Towering and furred, he patrols Siberian ranges and river valleys to protect communities from exploitative extraction and armed coercion.

Equal parts myth and civic defender, he’s known for leveling heavy logging machinery, rescuing trapped families in blizzards, and carving wooden talismans that local children keep.

Unwilling to abandon human settlements, he defends both people and the fragile post-Reset ecology.

Manārkh

Ardeshir Salim Mahmoudi - A threshold guardian of spatial rifts in Eden’s post-Reset reality, Manārkh operates from the ruins of Troy.

He was bonded to a proto-historic entropy staff after disturbing a tomb in Persepolis.

Unlike other powered individuals, his abilities are neither cosmic nor divine, but bound to the maintenance of universal stability.

His entropy field can slow decay, rewind time in localized zones, or collapse invading dimensions.

Stateless, celibate, and mystically burdened, Manārkh is a tragic figure of power as preservation rather than domination.

However, it cannot transmute elements or affect objects encased in force or energy fields.

It can rearrange costume and/or alter appearance.

It can allow the wearer to transform the surrounding air into a Toxic gas.

It can allow the wearer to solidify the air around opponents, encasing them in blocks of cement-like material.

The Many

The Many is a singular entity housing a kaleidoscope of personalities, each with a distinct worldview, skillset, and - occasionally - superhuman ability.

Their psyche fractured following a massive psychic event during the Great Reset, possibly linked to a neurochemical weapon test gone wrong.

Known for unpredictability and violence, they are one of Eden’s most volatile anomalies.

Merlyn Prime (Cosmic Being)

Designation: The Architect, The Living Cosmos, The Universe Remembered - Merlyn Prime is the living incarnation of the universe itself, existing in human form by choiece rather than limitation. Born as an ordinary man, a white-Indigenous member of Generation X, he lived a full mortal life defined by humor, blunt honesty, compassion, and personal loss. His humanity was not an illusion but a deliberate state of amnesia, allowing the cosmos to experience existence from within rather than above. His true nature reawakened upon drining from the Holy Grail, an event that did not transform him, but restored his memory: he had always been the universe, wearing the identity of a man.

In appearance, Merlyn Prime retains a largely human form - tall, broad-shouldered, often barefoot, with long white hair and calm blue eyes. However, subtle manifestations reveal his true nature: a presence that distorts space, a voice carrying unnatural depth, and, at times, glimpses of cosmic phenomena whithin his body. His demeanor remains approachable and grounded; he laughs easily, embraces freely, and interacts with others as an equal rather than a superior force.

Functionally, Merlyn Prime represents the totality of existence made self-aware. He is not a ruler or distant deity, but an active participant in reality, embodying a doctrine of restraint, empathy, and balance. Despite possessing the capacity to reshape creation, he consistenly chooses minimal interference, prioritizing interpersonal connection and lived experiencee over cosmic authority. Within the broader framework of Eden and the Omniverse, he stands as a central paradox: infinite in scope, yet intentionally and persistently human.

Meta-Mutants

The wave of dark matter, called the Atomic Particle Wave, caused an alteration in a certain group of people around the world.

This alteration affected those with an extra gland within their brain.

This gland, when activated, altered the person on a genetic level, gifting them with abilities unlike any seen, for centuries, among normal humans.

Some effects are drastic, others are minimized.

The gland is not an evolutionary trait or an abnormality.

The gland is a hereditary trait passed down from the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

The story of the gland goes back to the story of Jacob, who would one day be called Israel.

Legend is that when Jacob tricked his father into granting him his brothers (Esau) birthright, this was that birthright.

It is believed that the Blessing and Birthright was an actual spiritual/physical/scientific/magical rite that could literally alter a person.

According to ancient texts this birthright that Jacob stole was the blessing and responsibility of this extra gland that, with the right event, could gift him or his descendants, with tremendous abilities.

Based on the actions that the descendants of Israel performed it is believed that some of them actually had activated glands.

Now, due to interbreeding, the gland has become more widespread but not as easily activated.

That is, until the Atomic Particle Wave swept through everyone and everything on Eden.

Those whose glands have been activated are called Meta-Mutants.
