How About An Upgrade?

This new idea occurred right after watching the first Transformers live-action movie (not the 1986 animated one). In that movie all the Autobots became GMC vehicles (well, except maybe Optimus Prime).
This made me a little irritated. I understand the idea of getting a corporate sponsorship and all that, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. So I got to thinking about what would really happen in this world if alien robots of advanced technology came to Earth and transformed into Earth vehicles in order to hide their secret identities.
