Dr. Jaq Lemuel Samson is not his real name. His real name is Jeq-Len and he is a citizen of the Hidden Cities of the Kattilandore where he received his medical training before venturing out to learn and practice medicine in the modern world. It was in the United States of America where he changed his name to Jack Samson in order to attend medical school.
In the Hidden Cities of the Kattilandore he had already reached the highest level of medicine and had been granted the honor and title of Rao. Now he practices medicine in the Kingdom of Themykanda where, as advisor and medical provider for the royal family, he was instrumental in helping reshape the children that would grow to become Bastaphra and aJa-Sondan.

Kattilandore Physiology:
The Kattilandore are a secluded people who only wish to be left alone. Their physiology is similar in outward appearance only as they have a vast range of abilities that can only be considered superhuman. All information regarding these people are from tidbits given by Dr. Samson in converstation. As yet, no matter how far the search goes, the Hidden Cities of the Kattilandore have never been found against their will.
The average Kattilandorians possesses the potential for great power, like those below:
Solar Energy Absorption: Under optimal conditions, this is the main source of Jaq Samson's superpowers as they are contingent upon exposure to solar radiation from a yellow sun star system. His biological make-up includes several organs which lack analogues in humans and whose functions are unknown. It is believed that between one or more of these and his bio-cellular matrix, "yellow" solar energy is stored for later use. This allows for the use of these powers to fade when yellow solar radiation is not available instead of immediate failure.
Durability: Meta: Due to the interaction of his dense molecular structure and supercharged bio-electric aura, Jaq Samson is nigh-invulnerable to extreme energy forces. In addition, he extends this protection against toxins and diseases.

Enhanced Vision: Jaq Samson's vision processes the entire electromagnetic spectrum as well as allowing vast control over selective perception and focus. This umbrella ability includes the following:
_____Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision: Jaq Samson can see well into most of the electromagnetic spectrum. He can see and identify radio and television signals as well as all other broadcast or transmitted frequencies. Using this ability, he can avoid detection by radar or satellite monitoring methods. This also allows him to see the aura generated by living things.
_____Infrared Vision: Jaq Samson can see with better acuity in darkness, and to a degree in total darkness.
_____Microscopic Vision: This is the ability to see extremely small objects and images down to the atomic level.
_____Telescopic Vision: This is the ability to see something at a great distance, without violating the laws of physics. Though limited, the exact extent of the ability is undetermined. In function, it is like the zoom lens on a camera.
_____X-Ray Vision: This is the ability to see through any volume of matter except lead. Jaq Samson can see things behind a solid, opaque object as if it were not there. He can focus this ability to "peel back" layers of an object, allowing hidden images or inner workings to be observed. The exact type of energy perceived—such as x-rays, cosmic rays, or some other energy invisible to normal humans—is unclear. This ability perceives an ambient energy source, though, it does not involve the eye projecting a concentrated, possibly toxic, beam to be reflected from objects.
Heat Vision: Jaq Samson can, as a conscious act, fire beams of intense heat at a target by looking at it. He can vary the heat and area affected.
Super-Hearing: Jaq Samson's hearing is sensitive enough to hear any sound at any volume or pitch. With skill and concentration, he can block out ambient sounds to focus on a specific source or frequency.
Longevity: The Kattilandorians are an extremely long-lived people. Samson's medical teacher was just passing his 1,000th birthday when Jeq-Len began studying with him. Samson himself is approaching his 558th birthday. It is unknown whether The Great Burn has also enhanced this, but if so, it is possible that Samson may be immortal.
Speed: Flight: Speed of Sound: Jaq Samson can manipulate graviton particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction.
Speed: Land: Speed of Sound: Jaq Samson can move at incredible speed by sheer force of will. This extends to his perceptions and allows for feats such as catching bullets in mid-flight as well as covering vast distances in little or no time. This also confers:

Stamina: Meta: Jaq Samson can maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an indefinite period. This is based on his body converting yellow solar radiation directly to energy but is limited by physiological and psychological needs to eat, drink, and sleep.
Strength: Enhanced: Jaq Samson's strength is augmented by yellow solar radiation interacting with the greater than human density, resilience, and biological efficiency of his musculature. His strength is more an act of conscious will on energy fields than actual physical strength. It is this act of conscious will that enables him to perform physical feats that are beyond the mere application force, such as moving a mountain top without said rock crumbling under its own mass.
Super-Breath: Jaq Samson can create hurricane force winds by exhaling air from his lungs. He can chill the air as it leaves his lungs to freeze targets. He can also reverse the process to pull large volumes of air or vapor into his lungs.
Burn Enhancements:
Already in possession of amazing abilities, Samson found himself enhanced when The Great Burn swept through him. The Particle Wave fortified his cellular structure, added roughly two hundred pounds of enhanced muscle, bone, and connecting tissue to his body, and turned his hair green (The source of his added mass is unknown, but probably extra-dimensional). As such, all of his powers have been greatly enhanced.
Durability: Demi-Godlike: Samson's skin is highly resistant to impact and is much harder and more resistant to physical injury than a normal human. His skin can resist penetration wounds from high caliber bullets or blades composed of most conventional materials. He is also physically durable enough to withstand multiple blows from Superion or Chirurgeon and sustain little to no injury. His bones and muscles are strong and resilient enough to survive a fall at terminal velocity reached after free-falling 4,000 feet in a feet-first attitude at 145 miles per hour against sidewalk concrete, provided he lands upright. Even if he does not land upright, he would not sustain serious physical injury.
Retained Consciousness: Samson still contains his memories and cognitive abilities. Samson's superhuman physique isn't the physical manifestation of an alternate personality brought about by exposure to high levels of Burn radiation. This is also a factor as to why Samson did not revert to a non-superhuman form when the Particle Wave swept through.
Stamina: Demi-Godlike: As in the case of many meta-mutants around the world, exposure to The Great Burn has dramatically increased the efficiency of Samson's musculature, though not as greatly as some. As a result, his musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal member of his race. Samson can physically exert himself at peak capacity for weeks before the buildup of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.
Strength: Level-10: Samson was granted great superhuman strength. He already was stronger than the strongest human, capable of lifting three tons but, because of The Great Burn, his strength was boosted to being sufficient to lift about seven tons. Samson's strength does not fluctuate with surges of adrenaline during periods of heightened emotional states, but his strength is dependent upon the length of his hair: the longer it is, the stronger he is. His great strength also extends into the powerful muscles of his legs, allowing him to leap great heights and distances. Samson has been known to leap approximately 280 feet straight up into the air, and to a maximum reported distance of 610 feet.
Psychiatry:
Dr. Jaq Samson is a skilled psychiatrist, said to be one of the most renowned on Eden. He is also an M.D. as well as a PhD.

Author & Expert: Samson is considered the leading expert on the effects of The Great Burn on both the body and mind. As of this report he has published 38 peer reviewed papers on both the psychotropic and physiological aspects of the transformations caused by The Great Burn.
Hair Length: While his powers and strength are dependent on the length of his hair, his hair does not grow very quickly. In fact, the image shows the length of his hair after he stopped cutting it 20 years ago. Since The Great Burn his hair has only grown 4-inches. This means his hair, and his strength, will increase by one-fifth (⅕) every five (5) years.
Voice: If the Amalgam Universe 2.0 were to become a cartoon, the voice of Dr. Jaq Samson should be Tim Russ.
