Born in Rancho Palos Verdes, Arclight, whose real name is undisclosed, discovered his meta-mutant abilities in his teens. Orphaned early due to his father Maxwell Pierce's mysterious death and his mother Maria Santos' subsequent remarriage, he found solace in his younger sister, Lisa. His powers allow him to generate and control electricity, transforming into a sentient electrical plasma. Trained at The T.I.T.A.N.S. Academy, Arclight wields his abilities to protect others, wearing a specialized powersuit to maintain his form and harness his immense energy.

Using their ability to generate an electrical field has the added effect of turning them into a being of sentient electrical plasma force with no mass. While in this form, they are capable of:
